Trainers

Raintree Athletic Club's personal trainers are committed to providing their clients with "A Lifetime of Fitness" by increasing motivation, assisting with goal setting and reducing the possibility of injury through orientations.

As a new member, our trainers offer a FREE Personal Training session (a $55 value) to help get you started on your journey to "A Lifetime of Fitness". 

The RAC also offers New Members a group training session that will increase your working knowledge of a fitness program and any equipment you may need to use during the course of that program. A trainer will walk you through the gym and demonstrate how to use equipment properly.

As a current member, our trainers are on staff to answer questions, assist with equipment use and jumpstart a stalled fitness program.

Currently, there are eight certified personal trainers who are ready to lead you through a progressive fitness program.

Our trainers:

All RAC trainers hold a degree in an exercise-related field and all hold a personal training certification from an accredited organization.

Annemarie Muehlbrandt hails from Germany and is a licensed physical therapist. She also holds an AFAA personal training certification. Her hobbies, outside of the RAC, include: downhill biking, hiking, dancing, running, Martial Arts, skating and traveling. annemariem@raintreeathleticclub.com

Jenny Powelka is from Iowa and holds both an ACSM and NSCA personal training certification. Jenny is also one of our certified cycling instructors, teaches several Pilates classes and holds a SilverSneakers certification. Cory Slack is a Colorado native who holds an ACE personal training certification. His hobbies include: basketball, hiking, biking, watching football, lifting heavy weights and spending time with friends and family. corys@raintreeathleticclub.com

Michelle Bean is a Colorado native who holds an AAI/ISMA Advanced training certification as well as an AFAA personal training certification. Michelle is also Les Mills and SilverSneakers certified and teaches some of our Group Fitness and cycling classes. Steven Hannem is from Minnesota and holds an ACSM personal training certification. His hobbies include: mountain biking, skiing, camping, softball, hockey and drumming. steve@raintreeathleticclub.com

Katherine Sanford is a Colorado native and is an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She has her Les Mills, cycling and TRX certification and teaches some of our cycling classes. Katherine is also an AAHFP pre- and post-rehab specialist. Sandy Ernst Aldern is from Arkansas and holds an AFFA personal training certification. She is a 1st degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and also has her kickboxing and cycling certifications. Her hobbies include: road biking and home remodeling. sandya@raintreeathleticclub.com

Carson Renner is from Florida and holds an ACSM personal training certification. He also holds a certification in TRX suspension training and enjoys using a variety of equipment for training sessions. Jake Humphrey is from Georgia and is certified in Russian Kettlebell training and is a certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach.
