Spectating the Horsetooth Half Marathon

Not running this year? No problem, this race is just as fun to watch as it is to run.

The Horsetooth Half Marathon encourages spectators to bring the energy with their famous “Golden Rules”:

  • Bring noise (cowbells encouraged!)

  • Bring signs, costumes, and friends

  • Bring the hype, then bring more cowbell

  • Stay for the after party

Cheering along the course is a great way to support runners and experience one of the most exciting running events in Fort Collins.

Post-Race Party at New Belgium Brewing

The celebration continues at New Belgium Brewing Company, featuring:

  • Free beer for runners

  • Live music

  • Vendor booths (including Raintree Athletic Club)

  • A lively, community-driven atmosphere

And yes, the finisher’s medal doubles as a beer bottle opener, making it one of the most unique race souvenirs around.

Recover Strong at Raintree Athletic Club

After conquering 13.1 miles at the Horsetooth Half Marathon, prioritizing post-run recovery is essential. At Raintree Athletic Club, runners have access to premium sports recovery services in Fort Collins designed to help reduce soreness, prevent injury, and speed up recovery.

Raintree’s Assisted Stretching Program helps improve flexibility, increase range of motion, and relieve muscle tightness after race day. Private Yoga sessions offer guided recovery through mobility work, breathwork, and relaxation, ideal for runners looking to rebalance both body and mind.

For a complete recovery experience, the Recovery Lounge provides a comfortable space to rest, recharge, and recover after intense training or race efforts. These services make Raintree a top choice for post-race recovery, stretching services, and athlete recovery in Fort Collins.
